Baby Eissa appears to be enjoying a nice big yawn, while his famous mum looks rested and happy in a picture introducing him to the world.

Janet Jackson, who gave birth to her baby boy in January, has posted the photo on Twitter with the words: “My baby and me after nap time”.

Eissa is the 50-year-old singer’s first child with husband Wissam Al Mana, a Qatari businessman.

According to People magazine, the couple, who married in 2012, have split since their son’s birth, but that has not been confirmed.

In a section called “Love” on Mr Al Mana’s website, there is a picture of his wife and a message, saying: “To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend.

“I love you so much, inshallah we will be together in the Great Forever x”.

The singer said last year that her Unbreakable tour was being delayed because she and Mr Al Mana were “planning our family”.

A video at the time talked of a “sudden change” to the tour’s second leg, but did not say whether she was expecting.
