John Travolta Gotti movie reviews are TERRIBLE: ZERO per cent on Rotten Tomatoes

The 64-year-old Grease and Pulp Fiction star is taking on the role of one of America’s most notorious mobsters in a new gangster biopic.

Gotti’s synopsis reads: “The film chronicles the three-decade reign of crime boss John Gotti, and his rise as the head of the Gambino Crime Family in New York City, along with his son, John Jr., and his loyal wife.”

But if movie fans were hoping for another Goodfellas it looks like Gotti couldn’t be further from that masterpiece.

In fact the film so far has no positive reviews at all, with many critics awarding it just one star or even less.

Closing reportage of everyday New Yorkers brashly extolling Gotti’s virtues upon his death, painting him, without any irony, as some kind of local hero, pretty much tells you where this picture’s coming from.

Gotti is yet to receive a UK release date.
