Meghan Markle, 36, marries Prince Harry, 33, this weekend in the most eagerly anticipated Royal wedding of late.

The American star has always had an eye for fashion and has made great style choices so far on her many royal tours with fiancé Harry.

Meghan took a leaf out of sister-in-law Kate Middleton’s rulebook in Scotland by wearing a local designer for her royal visit to Edinburgh.

The Suits actress teamed her £1,995 green and blue tartan coat from Burberry with a £395 handbag from Scottish designer Strathberry.  

Unlike the Duchess of Cambridge, Meghan appears to be making her own style statement, breaking away from some of the more traditional royal fashion rules that we have seen Kate follow.

For example, Kate Middleton will often wear a traditional dress coat with nude tights and court shoes. She has recently been seen following the Queen’s lead by wearing bold colours, so that waiting well-wishers are sure to spot her from a distance.
