Royal wedding dress: From Kate Middleton to Princess Mary – whose gown is most lavish?
Kate Middleton, 36, wore a gown reportedly worth £250,000 for her royal wedding to Prince William, 35.
The lavish big day saw the couple tie the knot at Westminster Abbey as millions all over the world watched on.
Meghan Markle, 36, is set to have her wedding to Prince Harry, 33, on Saturday and many are speculating about what the actress’s gown will be like.
Some suggest Meghan Markle’s wedding dress will be from Ralph & Russo and cost £40,000.

Queen Letizia
Queen Letizia, 45, married King Felipe VI, 50, in 2004.
The royal, who was famous in her national Spain as a television presenter married the prince, who would later become a king, at Madrid’s Almudena Cathedral.
Her dress was created by Manuel Pertegaz, 87 at the time, and was made from natural silk.
It had a train nearly 15 feet long and it was embroidered with the fleur de lys.
She wore the Prussian Diamond Tiara, which her mother-in-law Queen Sofia wore for her wedding, paired with diamond earrings.
Crown Princess Mary of Denmark
Crown Princess Mary, 46, married HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, 49, in May 2004.
Her dress was created from ivory duchess satin with a scoop neckline which exposed her shoulders.
According to reports the wedding ring belonging to her mother, who died in 1997, was stitched into the dress near her heart.
The skirt was made of 31 meters of tulle and she had a 19.6 foot long train.
She wore a veil passed down from Crown Princess Margaret and added her wedding tiara, a new piece commissioned by the Queen and Prince Henrik.
Her earrings were brilliant cut diamonds with pearls by Marianne Dulong.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, 40, married Daniel Westling, 44, on 19 June, 2010.
The simple dress was created by Swedish designer Par Engsheden. It was made of cream duchess silk satin.
The dress was off-the-shoulder and had a 16 foot train.
She wore the Bernadotte lace veil, which was worn by her mother on her wedding day.
Also on her head was the Cameo Tiara, an old tiara dated back to 1809.
Princess Sofia of Sweden
Prince Carl Philip, 39, and Princess Sofia, 33, married in June 2015.
The dress was created by Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt and was made of silk crepe and Italian silk organza with lace.
She was given a new tiara by the King and Queen of Sweden, a diamond number with emeralds.
She had another dress for her reception dinner, a one shoulder number.
