Star Wars 9 leaks: 'This is how SNOKE is coming back' What about the Knights of Ren?

The original decision to have three different directors controlling the final Star Wars trilogy is seen by many as one of its greatest weaknesses.

Each was able to redesign the characters and storylines in their own movie which led to ideas set up in The Force Awakens going astray in The Last Jedi, not to mention some hugely divisive plot tangents.

However, many fans may now see this as an eleventh hour silver lining, since JJ Abrams may be able to somewhat reverse some of Rian Johnson’s Episode 8 decisions.

It was widely rumoured that Colin Trevorrow was very unhappy that Luke and Snoke were uncermoniously dispatched before he had the chance to use them on screen. Has Abrams found a way?  

Fans are firmly hoping that Luke may be gone but will still come back as a Force ghost.

Snoke also met an untimely end at the hands of Kylo Ren before he was able to show what he was truly capable of. 

Now a series of leaked descriptions about the early artwork and story outlines for the final movie have revealed the First Order leader could still be shown in all his power and glory.

Two different scenes have been described, which tie in with Andy Serkis’ cryptic comments about how he still hoped to play Snoke again.

Star Wars commentator Mike Zeroh said: “We also learned about concept art and storyboard descriptions involving Snoke for Episode 9 looking down upon a young boy within a hallway.

“Now a similar new description of storyboards involves Supreme Leader Snoke and a black-shaded figure I believe to be Kylo Ren. That figure is holding a lightsaber in front of Snoke except the lightsaber is not complete.”

“I think a big element in this movie will be this detailed storytelling of Kylo Ren’s past on his path to becoming who he is in the sequel trilogy.”

Abrams already used thrilling Forceback visions to add depth to the Force Awakens, so it seems likely he will do the same in Episode 9.

Rey’s previous vison appeared to show Kylo Ren with his Knights of Ren. Action figures were even produced but they never materialised on screen in The Last Jedi.

Will Abrams show dramatic moments from the past with Snoke, Kylo Ren and the Knights?

Serkis previously said: “I know it frustrated a lot of people that Snoke came to such a sticky end so quickly, but I loved that big scene and the relationship between Daisy Ridley’s character and Snoke… So, I really think it’s great in the movie, but yeah, I’d be very happy to extend Snoke’s life, for sure.”

Fans will hoping he does just that…
