Principal photography has only just wrapped on the Venom sets in Atlanta.

Industry insiders were not expecting any footage to be released until later in the Spring.

However, a new report reveals that the trailer has already been classified and will be full-length, not a teaser.

When will the Tom Hardy Marvel anti-hero swing into view and could the rumours of a Black Panther tie-in mean it will be next week?

Industry website Trailer Track has just reported that the Venom railer has been officially classified. This means it is is incompleted form and has been rated by a national film board  ready to be shown in cinemas.

Trailer Track said: “The first trailer for the highly-anticipated (and R-rated) expansion of the Spider-Man universe has been rated tonight by the Manitoba Film Classification Board.

“The piece is set to run one minute and 31 seconds.”

Manitoba is a province of Canada.

Since most teasers under 30 seconds rarely show anyting of importance, the run-time indicates this will be a full trailer with teh first proper look at Tom Hardy and Venom/Eddie Brock.

The only fly in the ountment is that it may be held back for the US release of Black Panther, meaning UK fans will still have to wait until February 16.

Venom is out in cinemas on October 5.
