World War 3 fears SURGE as China tests MASSIVE 'mother of ALL bombs' in challenge to US
Footage of the test was released last week. The bomb was produced by a state owned Chinese company. It is nearly two years since the US deployed its own ‘Mother of All Bombs’ for the first time.
During the test the bomb was dropped by a Xian H-6K strategic bomber.
According to The Global Times, an official Chinese Communist Party newspaper, it weighed several tons.
According to Chinese military expert Wei Dongxu it could measure up to 20 feet in length.
Mr Wei commented: “The massive blast can easily and complexly wipe out fortified ground targets such as reinforced buildings, bastions and defence shelters.”

He added the weapon could be used to remove obstacles and create space for aircraft landing zones.
Details of the location and date of the test were not made available.
The US deployed its own ‘Mother of All Bombs’, officially known as the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast, for the first time in April 2017.
It was dropped on a suspected Isis cave complex in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province.
President Trump described the mission as “very very successful”.

According to Afghan officials, between 32 and 92 Isis fighters were killed, though as they were buried an official casualty count was not conducted.
According to Mr Wei’s analysis the Chinese bomb is a little smaller than its American counterpart, potentially meaning it could be deployed by conventional bombers rather than transport aircraft.
Russia has also developed a monster bomb known informally as the ‘Father of All Bombs’.
There are reports it was dropped on an Isis position in the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor in September last year, though these have not been confirmed.
