Batman solo movie ‘Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington being considered for Dark Knight’

Batman v Superman and Justice League may be it for Ben Affleck as Matt Reeves preps his Batman solo movie with another actor rumoured for the lead.

This shouldn’t be too surprising though since Joaquin Phoenix is currently shooting a Joker solo movie for Warner Bros, while Jared Leto is also technically still the Clown Prince of Crime for the studio.

According to Revenge of the Fans it’s alleged that Warner Bros requested digital mock-ups of actors in the running for the Batman solo movie, just a couple of months ago.

The insider claims Jake Gyllenhaal and Jack Huston, two actors whose names have been rumoured for a while now, were a couple of the mock-ups.

But now it’s alleged Game of Thrones star Harington is also in the running for Bruce Wayne.

The outlet reports: “In June Warner Bros was keen to see what he’d look like in a Batman suit so they requested some digital mock-ups of the Game of Thrones star as The Caped Crusader.

“As mentioned earlier on, my source on this has no idea if that was the end of it (or the start of it).

“It’s just something interesting that happened, and I thought my fellow news-starved DC fans would find this noteworthy.”

“There’s a big problem with masculinity and homosexuality that they can’t somehow go hand in hand,” the Jon Snow star told Variety.

“That we can’t have someone in a Marvel movie who’s gay in real life and plays some super hero. I mean, when is that going to happen?”

Meanwhile the actor has wrapped on Game of Thrones’ final season, which airs next year.

The Batman solo movie is yet to have a release date announced.
