Thugs of Hindostan streaming: How to watch the FULL movie online? Is it legal to stream?

Thugs of Hindostan is reportedly the most expensive and most widely released Bollywood production ever, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.

The Yash Raj Films movie was produced on an estimated budged of $42million (£32.65million).

Thugs of Hindostan is set in 1795 and follows a band of Thugs led by Khudabaksh Azaad, who aspires to free the Indian subcontinent of Hindostan from the rule of the British East India Company.

The action-adventure movie was released on November 8, 2018, during the week of Diwali, but some are now eager to stream the movie online.

How to watch Thugs of Hindostan online

Thugs of Hindostan was leaked online just hours after its release.

The website Tamilrockers, known for hosting pirated versions of films, was the one to publish the movie for eager fans online.

Tamilrockers have reportedly also leaked films like “Sarkar” and “Kaala” in the past.

Is it legal to stream?

Any site purporting to have Thugs of Hindostan available to stream is likely illegal, to be forewarned.

After the leak, the Tamil Film Producers Council released a statement, urging the Tamilrockers website must be prevented from such piracy.

The council has also stated theatre owners should deploy people to prevent moviegoers from recording movies.

Following the leak of the Bollywood movie, fans have also urged authorities to take severe action against the website.

What do critics say about Thugs of Hindostan?

Upon Thugs of Hindostan’s release, the movie received generally negative feedback.

Critics mostly praised the performances of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, but writer and director Vijay Krishna Acharya’s screenplay and direction were heavily criticised.

Rachit Gupta of The Times of India gave the movie two and a half out of five stars.

He said: “It looks like a million bucks, but it doesn’t feel the same way.”

Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV also rated the film two and a half stars out of five possible.

He said: ”Big, bloated, and bombastic.”

And added the film was “banks solely upon action and spectacle for impact”.
