Melania Trump: First Lady dazzles in white sequinned dress at Congressional Ball
Melania Trump arrived for the annual Congressional Ball last night in a stunning white gown.
The First Lady of America, 48, stole the show as she joined her husband President Donald Trump, 72, for the evening event which was held at the White House.
Former model Melania opted for a figure-hugging dress in pearlescent sequins which shimmered when she walked.
The long elegant gown, believed to be by Celine, featured a high necklace and long sleeves – perfect for the festive season.
Melania held hands with her husband of 13 years as she descended the grand staircase to greet the guests at the Christmas gathering.
Complimenting her evening look, Melania wore dramatic party make-up comprised of dark grey and silver smokey eyeshadow and pink lipstick.
She wore her hair in a centre parting and loose around her shoulders.
The mother-of-one completed her ensemble with a pair of towering silver stilettos.
Melania and Donald, who wore a black tuxedo, both took to the stage to give a short speech in the Grand Foyer of the White House which was sumptuously decorated for the festive season.
Two large Christmas trees adorned with white lights and red baubles dominated the room and a sweeping garland with pretty lights and big red bows decorated the staircase.
The presidential couple were joined by Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pen at the Washington event which welcomed Republicans and Democrats to the White House.
The president’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner were also at the Congressional Ball.
