Following last week’s tragic Grenfell Tower fire, Simon Cowell has announced a charity single in aid of the victims.

Now The Who’s Roger Daltrey has been spotted arriving at a recording studio in West London to take part.

Dressed in a white t-shirt and sporting a Panama hat and shades, the 73-year-old rocker was joined by One Direction’s Louis, 25, and Jessie J, 29.

Over the weekend Cowell revealed the charity single would be a cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water – to be released on Wednesday.

Other stars who will lend their vocals for the Grenfell Tower victims includes Liam Payne, Craig David, Lilly Allen, Stormzy and Skepta.

He told The Sun: “Until that last note has been finished, we will not be off the phone.

“I drove up very near [Grenfell], because you can’t get too close, but when you see it first hand it really does it hit you which is one of the reasons why I wanted to do this so quickly.”

He added: “You sit there, you’re looking at the that, and then go back and watch the news and you think, ‘what the f**k do you do?’

“I thought this is the best thing because it’s quick and I’ve done it before. Normally when you do this things it’s start a wave.”
