According to Wrestling Inc, Henry will be the latest, and probably final, Class of 2018 inductee.

The World’s Strongest Man will join Jeff Jarrett, The Dudley Boyz, Hillbilly Jim, Ivory, celebrity inductee Kid Rock, Warrior Award recipient Jarrius ‘JJ’ Robertson and headliner Goldberg among wrestling’s all-time greatest.

The ex-World Heavyweight Champion joined the WWE in 1996 and signed a 10-year contract with the company following his impressive powerlifting exploits.

The Texas native, however, struggled at the beginning and failed to stand out until 2005 when he took out then World Heavyweight Champion Batista.

He then signed a contract extension a year later and won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship in 2008.

However, the best moment of his career came in 2011 when he beat Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions in a year that saw him put some of WWE’s best in the Hall of Pain.

The ex-European Champion has had some stunning feuds with the likes of Kurt Angle, Kane as well as John Cena and even faced The Undertaker at WrestleMania 22.

Henry’s career though was also hampered by injuries as he was sidelined in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

He quietly retired from in-ring competition after WrestleMania 33 and took a backstage position with WWE as a producer.

The 2018 Hall of Fame ceremony takes place on April 6 in New Orleans, Louisiana two days before WrestleMania 34.

The announcement is expected to be made tonight on RAW.
