Avengers Infinity War: Was this hero's DEATH already shown at preview screenings? REVEALED

Fans are bracing themselves for bad news.

Some fans, however, already saw almost 30 minutes of the film at recent preview events around the word and a new leak is reporting the shocking loss of a hugely popular hero at the start.

Did they really see the death of a major character?

Express Online was at one of those screenings and can confirm whether or not Thanos was shown killing a beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe character.

The report in ScreenGeek confidently claims: “The beginning of Avengers: Infinity War features the death of a major Marvel character. Some fans will be expecting it, while others will be blindsided. It sets the tone for the rest of the movie – as well as the future of the MCU.

“It’s good that the Russo Brothers are telling fans to be emotionally prepared for the film – because they’ll definitely need to be. Whether you’re expecting it or not, it’s going to be BIG.”

Was this really shown to audiences last weekend and, if so, who was it?

Thousand of lucky fans saw the preview footage at events in London and elsewhere around the world.

After months of intense secrecy would Marvel really have revealed a huge plot point however loyal most fans are?

Express Online can confirm that the simple answer is no.

The footage was cleverly selected to provide a thrilling taster but no important spoilers or twists were included. Even so, the cleverly selecetd cut does give yet another huge hint that someting major will happen at the very start of the movie. 

The edit show at the preview event was not the very beginning of the movie, which when all signs indicate something terrible will happen.

The end credits scene of Thor Ragnarok showed Thanos’ warship appearing in front of Thor and Loki. Trailers have already shown many dead Asgardians on the ship and we know someting dramatic will hurl Thor into space.

Fans have seen Loki offering the Tesseract to someone and the Space Stone has been shown in the Infinity Gauntlet.

Every sign poins to Loki being the first major casualty that will set the tone for delivering the shocks and losses promised by the Russos.
