Bird Box is now available to stream on Netflix.

The horror film will be hosted on the streaming platform in the UK, USA, Italy, Netherlands, and Singapore.

Bird Box currently has a limited theatrical run in cinemas in select UK cities, too.

You can watch it at the Curzon cinema chain in two London locations.

Those outside the capital city, however, will have to stick to at home viewing.

Can you download Bird Box on Netflix?

To the delight of many film fans, Netflix does offer a download option for some of its content.

One of the titles available for download is indeed Bird Box.

However, the download feature is only accessible on devices like phones and tablets.

For laptops and smart TVs, you will have to have an internet connection to stream the film.

Bird Box runs a total of two hours and four minutes.

The official plot synopsis reads: “When a mysterious force decimates the population, only one thing is certain — if you see it, you die.

“The survivors must now avoid coming face to face with an entity that takes the form of their worst fears.

“Searching for hope and a new beginning, a woman and her children embark on a dangerous journey through the woods and down a river to find the one place that may offer sanctuary.

Bird Box currently holds a 66 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The critics’ consensus reads: “Bird Box never quite reaches its intriguing potential, but strong acting and an effectively chilly mood offer intermittently creepy compensation.”

Despite its mixed reviews, Bird Box has broken Netflix’s record, garnering 45 million views in its first week online.
