They really don’t make ’em like that any more.

Debbie Harry has been a major sex symbol since the 1970s and shows no sign of slowing down. At the incredible age of 71, the original rock chick looks stunning in her band’s latest video. Whether it’s sequins, leather or leopard print, the New York icon has still got it.

In the new video, Blondie go intergalactic to throw a huge party on Mars – as you do – and we are all invited, even if most of don’t have the stamina to keep up with the sexiest septuagenarian in the Solar System.

It’s exciting times for Blondie fans with a new album Pollinator on the way and tour dates about to be announced for the UK, Europe, US and Canada.

Pollinator will be released on May 5 and was the very last album ever recorded at New York’s The Magic Shop studios before its closure. David Bowie’s last two albums were also recorded at the legendary studio.

Fun is available to download and stream now and was written by Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio.

The high-octane video for Fun was directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, who previously worked on Beyonce’s ground-breaking Lemonade.

The album features original music by the band as well as collaborations with a host of famous names including Sia and Charli XCX, alongside Johnny Marr, Dev Hynes, Dave Sitek and The Strokes’ Nick Valensi.

Joan Jett and Laurie Anderson add their distinctive vocals to the track Doom Or Destiny, whilst The Gregory Brothers join in the fun on When I Gave Up On You.

Debbie Harry acknowledges the debt and sheer joy the band had working with their famous friends this time around.

She said: “Their material is part of us and we are part of them. It’s a celebration of recycling!”

In a career spanning five decades, Blondie have sold an incredible 40 million albums and were inducted into the Rock ’N’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.

Their most famous anthems captured the end of the disco era and the birth of punk and include classics like Heart Of Glass, Call Me, Rapture, One Way Or Another and The Tide Is High.

One way or another, it’s pretty clear that the legendary band isn’t ready to stop having Fun just yet…

Blondie’s new single Fun is out now. The album Pollinator is out on May 5.
