Boots £10 ‘holy grail’ vitamin C cream gives skin a ‘healthy youthful glow’
It’s our favourite time of the week… you guessed it, Boots £10 Tuesday is here, and like always, there’s plenty of skincare favourites to get your hands on for a tenner.
If your skin’s been looking a little on the dull side lately, Vitamin C is a great radiance-boosting ingredient and shoppers are snapping up Super Facialist’s Vitamin C+ Skin Defence Daily Moisturiser that’s been dropped to £10 from £17.
Rich in antioxidants, the lightweight silky moisturiser helps protect skin from environmental aggressors while the addition of hyaluronic acid works to plump fine lines and wrinkles. Promoting a smooth, supple finish, the cream seeks to provide a helpful dose of hydration.
Boosted with a next generation vitamin C that promotes collagen synthesis and increases skin density, the cream aims to leave skin looking youthful and glowy, and there’s plenty of five-star reviews to back up those claims.
One delighted shopper wrote on the Boots website: “I’m 40 with combination skin. I didn’t find it greasy, just beautifully hydrating and personally, I love the smell. The main reason I have to review it though is that it has worked really well on my frown lines, like I’ve never been more impressed with the results of a face cream and my skin is really glowing too. I’m a vitamin C convert for sure!”
A second added: “Lovely rich cream that leaves my skin so soft and smooth and sinks in really quickly so I can apply makeup within a couple of minutes. I would definitely purchase again, great value for money.”
While a third added: “Really light cream, not sticky on the face and soaks in easily smells really nice too. Gives skin a lovely fresh feeling.”
