Brigitte Macron beams holding World Cup trophy with French football team in slinky dress

Brigitte Macron, 65, was in Paris last night receiving France’s national football team with her husband Emmanuel Macron, 40. 

The couple were welcoming the World Cup champions to the Elysee Palace, following the team’s win against Croatia on Sunday.

As the team arrived, Brigitte was pictured holding on the World Cup trophy, beaming and celebrating with the team.

Meeting the team along with her husband, the French First Lady oozed elegance and style in a navy blue mini dress.

The stylish dress channeled 1960’s glamour, with its short hemline and A-line fit.

The navy blue shift dress fell above Brigitte’s knees, showing off her slim, tanned legs.

Adding a more demure touch, it featured a high neckline and short, capped sleeves.

Cinched in at the waist, the dress highlighted the 65-year-old’s svelte frame, flaring out from the wast in an A-line shape.

It featured structured panelling adding a more formal touch to the summery shift dress.

Keeping with the 60’s style, Brigitte wore her blonde hair in a volumous blow dry and wore a dark, smokey eye with a pale pink lip.

In a move favoured by the British royal family, Brigitte toned down her mini dress by wearing a pair of nude-coloured tights.

On her feet she wore a classic pair of cream pointed-toe court shoes, which showed no signs of slowing her down as she jumped around with the French football team.

As the team arrived on the steps of the Elysee Palace, Brigitte held up the World Cup trophy with footballer Paul Pogba.

Her husband, French President Emmanuel, also looked elated as he had his turn holding the glittering gold World Cup trophy.

Following the celebrations, Brigitte, Emmanuel and the team made their way into the Elysee Palace for a lavish reception.

It’s been a celebratory past week for the French, with Brigitte looking equally as glamorous as she attended a Bastille Day event on Saturday in Paris. 

The 65-year-old wife of Emmanuel Macron stood out from the crowd today in a short white skirt and a matching cardigan style top.

She looked stunning as she stepped out in Paris, France for the Bastille Day event on Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris, France.

Bastille Day is a national anniversary day in France to remember the Storming of the Bastille prison on 14 July 1789.

Brigitte and husband Emmanuel stepped out together at the important event among other French politicians.
