Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 70, arrived at Prince Louis‘ christening this afternoon wearing a summery cream ensemble.

The step grandmother of the little prince, Camilla looked in the best of spirits as she walked into the ceremony at the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.

Known for her muted colour palette, Camilla wore a lovely cream midi dress by British designer Fiona Clare, perfect for the occasion.

The dress has been worn by the Duchess before, possibly showing her confidence in the outfit’s style points.

She wore the dress last month to an event thrown by elephant charity, Elephant Famiy, in London.

She matched the elegant dress with a wide-brimmed cream Locke hat.

Camilla’s dress floated in the summer breeze as she walked towards the chapel for the service. It featured a floating, slightly pleated skirt detail, which came to just below her waist.

Channelling understated elegance the dress had no frills, prints or patterns, with Camilla keeping low-key for the little prince’s day.

Despite the hot, muggy weather, the 70-year-old’s dress had long sleeves.

She matched the elegant dress with a cream wide-brimmed hat, which also appeared to be plain with no added frills of embellishments.

To accessorise the look, she grasped a cream patterned clutch her in her hands.

On her feet she wore a simple pair of cream, mid-heel court shoes.

Sticking to her signature style, the beaming grandmother wore her signature stacked pearl necklace, held together by a silver brooch.

Her blonde hair was perfectly blow dried, bouncing as she happily chatted with a dapper-looking Prince Charles and mingled with the Middleton family.

Camilla’s outfit was the same colour as Kate Middleton’s cream ensemble, who again opted for Alexander McQueen.

Another pair that were matching in colour were Prince Louis’ aunt Pippa Middleton and his grandmother on Kate’s side, Carole Middleton.

Pippa and Carole both arrived at the service wearing baby blue dresses, paying homage to the baby’s sex.

Pippa showed off her growing baby bump in a detailed custom-made Alessandra Rich creation.

Carole wore a similar dress, with a similar style hat.

It is not known if the pair were under instruction to dress this way by Kate Middleton.
