Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, on night out after returning to London without Charles

Camilla Parker Bowles, the wife of Prince Charles, appeared at a party last night.

The Duchess of Cornwall mingled with guests with a drink in her hand at Buckingham Palace.

Camilla was attending the reception celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Man Booker Prize.

The Duchess of Cornwall posed for a picture with former Man Booker Prize winners.

They were Peter Carey, Julian Barnes, David Grossman, Kiran Desai, Alan Hollinghurst, Marlon James, Paul Beatty, Howard Jacobson, Naipaul, Ben Okri and Eleanor Catton.

Camilla Parker Bowles has been in Wales with Prince Charles over the week. 

However, she left the Duke to head back to the English capital last night.

On Tuesday Camilla stunned in Wales in a summery blue dress.

The shift dress had a subtle check print.

The Duchess paired this with a heavy silver necklace and classic Ray Ban sunglasses.

The mum-of-two added a modern touch with her shoes, £149 from Sole Bliss, which had a nude pointed toe and low wooden block heel.

Camilla and Charles put on a romantic show during the trip to the western part on the UK.

She gazed into his eyes and sat close in pictures.

The pair were visiting a community hall known as The Strand Hall during the three day visit.
