On her Africa trip Camilla has been seen wearing some pretty dainty jewellery, much like Meghan often does.

Today the mother-of-two wore a small gold necklace with a nugget on the end and a red gem embedded in it.

Yesterday she wore a necklace with a tiny little elephant charm dangling from it.

Meghan Markle’s jewellery is often on the petite side.

Charlotte Balbier, a stylist, told Express.co.uk Meghan is often seen “opting for fine pieces often delicate and small, almost smaller the better.”

She added: “Petite bangles and small earrings are Meghan’s signature look. Less is more for this new mum-to-be.”

Alongside her jewellery Camilla stuck to her African wardrobe of a kaftan and wife leg trousers.

She carried a white parasol in her hands and, again, wore the her woven straw bag with bamboo handles.

Prince Charles and Camilla visited Ghana shortly after it was claimed the Queen is planning to hand over power to her eldest son.

The Duchess wore a pair of £33,700 earrings in Gambia.

They are listed on the brand’s site at $43,900 or £33,772 excluding sales taxes.

Van Cleef & Arpels says of the stunning earrings: “Created in 2006 by Van Cleef & Arpels, the Magic Alhambra jewellery creations gather different-sized Alhambra motifs, coming together in a joyful dance.

“Inspired by the clover leaf, their asymmetric designs feature different associations of materials.”
