Captain Marvel after credits link to Avengers Infinity War? Samuel Jackson post new pics

Nick Fury introduced Captain Marvel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he sent that mysterious page in the closing seconds of Infinity War.

Fans already know he will be there for the genesis story of how Carol Danvers becomes the most powerful hero in the galaxy.

Jackson is listed with second billing in the Captain Marvel movie, but it is set in the 1980s.

The four new images are for an older Fury from later in the timeline and some sites are convinced this points to a Spider-Man Homecoming 2 cameo. But one major clue in the images completely debunks this.

The first of four new Instagram images show a Nick Fury business card.

The character finally gets a full F-word in, after constantly being cut mid-flow on screen.

However look closely at the contact details. Firstly, that phone number does not work. People have already tried it.

Secondly, it only lists a landline and fax number, no mobile or email. So this can not be a link into the modern-day Spider-Man Homecoming 2 or the main Avengers movies.

The other images show Fury’s iconic eye-patch, Jackson sporting prosthetic eye scars and a partially bald wig.

Early set images have shown Fury with both eyes and a full head of hair, fitting the 1980s setting. He also appears rather less lean and mean, physically.

Does the Captain Marvel movie actually reveal the moment when Fury lost his eye?

Jackson confirms in the tagline that this is the familiar version of Fury: “Back to the familiar, the comfortable, the lovably fierce! Loving today’s mood!”

The movie will focus on the transformation of military woman Carol Danvers into Captain Marvel, tying into the Kree-Skrulls war.

Will Fury be injured during an alien encounter? Are his scars from alien claws?

Brie Larson has already finished principal photography on the movie, but Jackson’s new images could show he is still filming, perhaps end credits scenes which link to the modern MCU era?
