Audiences watch, and fall in love with, Rachel Chu – an economics professor in New York City who accompanies her longtime boyfriend, Nick, to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore.

Rachel soon learns Nick’s family is extremely wealthy and he’s considered one of the country’s most eligible bachelors, bringing with it a whole host of problems for her.

“Thrust into the spotlight, Rachel must now contend with jealous socialites, quirky relatives and something far, far worse — Nick’s disapproving mother.”
