Dakota Johnson’s 'TERRIFYING' new movie after Fifty Shades Freed leaves audiences SHAKEN

The remake of Suspiria is the actress’s first release since Fifty Shades Freed, her final movie alongside Jamie Dornan.

Luca Guadagnino’s reboot of the 1977 horror movie is said to have left those in attendance feeling seriously unnerved, when a clip was shown at CinemaCon this week.

The film-maker was in attendance with Johnson herself as the clip was played – showing Johnson’s character performing a dance, under Tilda Swinton’s supervision.

The shots were interspersed with footage of another woman in a dance studio, whose body becomes contorted and is ultimately violently mangled and ripped apart in a bloody mess.

“It’s one of the most f**ked up things I’ve ever seen at #CinemaCon,” Collider’s Steven Weintraub tweeted.

“People at my table turned away from the screen. All I can say is it’s beyond extreme and gross and I need to see more.”

Peter Sciretta posted: “First clip from Suspiria invokes a dancer being thrown around like a rag doll telekinetically in a mirrored rehearsal space, bones breaking, becoming a contorted mess.

“Very gruesome and hard to watch. This film will make most people feel uneasy. #CinemaCon.”

Avery Thompson tweeted: “Luca Guadagnino’s #Suspiria is f**king terrifying, but I couldn’t look away.

“Dakota Johnson = WHOA. You’ve never seen a movie like this. #CinemaCon.”

The Oscar Predictor quipped: “#Suspiria looks like Black Swan on steroids. And that’s a compliment.”

Johnson has made no secret of the impact the filming process had on her wellbeing, telling Elle magazine it “f**ked me up so much I needed therapy”.

Safe to say it’ll be a far cry from her days as Ana Steele in the EL James adaptations.

Dornan’s new film has also had its first outing this week – as it makes ripples at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Suspiria is out later this year.
