Grieving woman convinced a COW is her REINCARNATED husband and 'they even share a bed'

The astonishing claims have created a cult following and up to 100 people visit the young cow every day. 

Khim Hang, 74, said: “I believe that the calf is my husband because whatever he does…is in exactly the same way as my husband did when he was alive.”

The young cow was born in March and has become a local celebrity thanks to the claims.

Thach Vin, 32, said she saw a video on Facebook in which the calf was being treated like a human and had to see it for herself.

She added: “I thought it was quite unusual to see a cow go up to the house like this. 

“So I came here to see it with my own eyes.”

The villager has opened her doors to the animal who now samples many of the comforts that her husband, Tol Khat, once enjoyed.

The calf is fed, washed and is allowed to sleep in the deceased man’s fluffy bed. 

Khim Hang added: “I will keep him and take care of him for my entire life.”

Cambodia is 95 per cent Buddhist and many believe the soul of a person is reincarnated after death.

It follows the worshipping of an Indian man who is only 23 inches tall and is thought to be the reincarnation of a Hindu god.

Manpreet Singh is 21-years-old and is the same height and weight as a six-month-old baby and is believed to be one of the smallest people in the world. 

Since the age of 12, he has been worshipped by the local villagers and people visit him every day to be blessed.
