The plot synopsis for Incredibles 2 follows the Parr family – Bob, Helen, Dash, Violet and Jack-Jack Parr – after defeating Syndrome.

The Parr family continue their heroic antics under their secret identity.

However, the Incredibles fail to prevent a new villain Underminer from robbing Metroville Bank and the local police become worried by the damage caused by the failed mission.

Rick Dicker’s “Super relocation” program is shut down as a result of the chaos, and Dicker (Jonathan Banks) has to deliver the bad news.

The Incredibles, and superheroes all over, will now be forced to permanently adhere to their secret identities.

The Incredibles Bob (Craig T Nelson) and Helen (Holly Hunter) and family friend Lucius Best, aka the superhero Frozone (Samuel L Jackson), are contacted by Winston Deavor.

Deavor, voiced by Bob Odenkirk is a superhero fan and telecommunications tycoon who suggests doing a publicity stunt to regain the public’s support.

Elastigirl is chosen to perform the stunt by fighting crime in New Urbrem, and as part of the plan, Winston provides the family with a new home, to which Bob offers to take care of the kids while Helen is away.

Mr Incredible is now left at home with one of his greatest challenges ever — staying home and taking care of three rambunctious children.

But for all of their planning, a new villain named Screenslaver has other ideas for the fate of the Incredibles.

Incredibles 2 is expected to make as much as £105 million ($140m) in its North American debut this weekend.

If Incredibles 2 does manage to pull in that much money, it will be a record for an animated movie.

Both Fandango and Atom Tickets, American ticketing agencies, stated Incredibles 2 is the top-selling animated movie in their respective histories in terms of pre-ticket sales.

The first Incredibles movie opened to £53 million ($70.5 m) in November 2004 (not adjusted for inflation).

The world premiere of Incredibles 2 happened in Los Angeles, California on June 5, 2018.
