Last year the adaptation of Stephen King’s classic smashed box office records, becoming the highest grossing horror movie of all time.

But that was only half the story.

Now IT Chapter 2 will see the Losers’ Club grown up 27 years later, when Pennywise the Clown returns to wreak havoc.

And director Muschietti has teased just what fans of the first movie can expect.

Hader has long been a fan dream casting choice as Richie, while McAvoy may come as more of a surprise.

That still leaves four of the boys to cast and Ben Hanscom, the overweight member of the group, grows up to be quite the hunk.

A popular choice for his part is Chris Pratt, who actually did transform from loveable chubster to action A-lister in real life.

Meanwhile Bill Skarsgard will return as Pennywise the Dancing Clown alongside director Andy Muschietti and screenwriter Gary Doberman.

The horror sequel is due to start shooting this summer in Toronto, with the child Loser Club cast returning for flashback sequences.

It: Chapter Two will be released in UK cinemas on September 6, 2019.
