Johnny Depp's emotional reunion with Pirates of the Caribbean stars at UK premiere
Last night, Johnny Depp attended the UK premiere of his latest movie Jeanne du Barry, at the Curzon Mayfair in London.
Joining the Jack Sparrow actor and his co-star/director Maïwenn on the red carpet were the likes of Monty Python’s Terry Gilliam and Liam Gallagher’s son Gene Gallagher.
Also among the celebrity friends of the 60-year-old Hollywood A-lister were a couple of his Pirates of the Caribbean co-stars.
Mackenzie Crook, who played one-eyed swashbuckler Ragetti in the original trilogy, was in attendance.
As was Stephen Graham, who portrayed Scrum in the fourth and fifth movies in the Disney film series. And it was the latter who had a particularly emotional reunion with Depp as captured exclusively by Express.co.uk.
As Depp ascended the staircase into the main screen of the Curzon Mayfair, Graham ran up to the Hollywood star, and tapped him on the shoulder before cheekily running away.
Being caught, the Brit was ushered back over by Jeanne du Barry’s King Louis XV, before the pair shared a heartfelt embrace.
Graham, who plays Léopold Zborowski in the upcoming Modì biopic directed by Depp, has been a vocal supporter of the star.
After the Jack Sparrow actor won his US libel case against his ex-wife Amber Heard in 2022, Graham reposted Depp’s post which said “the jury gave me my life back”.
Graham’s Instragram stories post read: “So much respect… so much love @johnnydepp.”
Jeanne du Barry hits UK cinemas on April 19, 2024 and Modì is expected to release later this year.
