Marks and Spencer shoppers say 'very trendy' £45 quilted jacket is perfect for spring

Having only recently been in store and online, a lot of people have left glowing reviews about Marks and Spencer’s Pure Cotton Denim Quilted Shacket.

Only available in the colour Medium Indigo, and made to a regular fit, shoppers are still delighted with the new style addition.

Satisfied customer Kate said she “couldn’t resist” the £45 jacket that she described as “really lovely” and “perfect for spring dog walks”.

As the changeable weather can make dressing in the mornings a little bit difficult, this Marks and Spencer (M&S) jacket seems to be ticking all the right boxes.

Catland wrote on the M&S website: “Love it. Perfect for spring. Goes with anything.”

Beatchmc added: “So versatile. So comfy… you could go down a size but I love this slightly oversized fit.”

Scousenurse said: “This is different from most denim jackets. I sized down and still quite roomy.

“Love the feel and weight of material and the generous length… looks good with jeans and dresses.”

So whether the sun is shining one moment, and the rain is pouring the next moment, this M&S jacket is lightweight and comfortable enough to wear throughout the unpredictable spring season.

Shopfor7 agreed, adding: “Well-made jacket. Sizing good. Ideal weight for mid spring and cool summer.”

There are nearly 100 reviews of the new style denim jacket that is available from size six to size 24.

M&S described the garment: “The diamond quilting of this denim jacket adds distinctive texture and pattern to your looks.

“Made to a regular fit, with a neat collared neckline and two patch pockets. It fastens with a neat row of mock horn buttons and features curved side hems for a flattering shape.

“This piece is crafted from pure cotton with an authentic wash for a soft denim look and a comfy feel.”

For the lowest reviews (and there isn’t many), concerns included long sleeves that required them turned up at the cuffs and the sizing coming up big.

However, as many positive reviews stated, people were very happy to buy a size down for the boxy-fit jacket.

Annwae said: “Lovely casual jacket – only reason for four stars not five is that the sleeves are a bit long; I had to fold them under and sew up to shorten them.”
