Marks and Spencer's 'eye-catching' £35 shirt dress delights shoppers that fits great

Quickly selling out, Marks and Spencer’s (M&S) shoppers have given the Printed Button Front Midi Shirt Dress a massive thumbs up.

Nearly 100 people have left a review for the M&S dress already, which is described as having a “stylish” design that is clearly ticking all the boxes.

There’s the Printed Button Front Midi Shirt Dress Black Mix (currently on sale for £26) that has now sold out (unless M&S re-stocked the popular dress).

Then there’s the Printed Button Front Midi Shirt Dress Navy Mix (now £22) and Blue Mix (now £26) that have both sold out online.

There is, however, still the Printed Button Front Midi Shirt Dress Pink Mix, Bright Blue Mix, and Light Blue Mix still available to purchase. 

The shirt dress has cuffed long sleeves, and a smart collared neckline with button-through fastenings, with subtle gathering at the waist.

Kadie posted to the M&S website saying: “Lovely soft feel to this dress. Material hangs beautifully and it’s a gorgeous shade of blue… dress could be worn anywhere esp with a belt.”

PickyShopper70 stated: “Love this style dress. Mine is in orange and black colour; was in the sale so a good buy. Got a [size] 14, fits and hangs well and had compliments when wearing it.”

Greenjeanie said: “Lovely dress, good for sizing and a nice cotton fabric. A nice length. Very comfortable.”

Sixty-six people have given the M&S shirt dress five stars and 22 gave the garment four stars.

Only three people gave the dress a very low rating, with “a 72-year-old fashion fan” giving her viewpoint.

She opined: “The dress had a lot of promise as it was in a stunning blue and potentially a good shape for me.

“But, unfortunately, when I tried it on it was voluminous in all the wrong places and I would need a slip underneath as the material was rather thin. I also suspected that it would crease easily. Had to return.”

In agreement about the ironing requirement, a five-star reviewer said: “I have been struggling to find something I liked from Marks, but this is love.

“A gorgeous bright blue and just looks nice. Quite light too, was a bit creased when I got it so needed ironing.”

People love the dress so much that they are ordering multiple patterns of the same dress.

Branma revealed: “I have this dress in two colours, light blue with white spot and dark navy with cream splodge… great fit.”
