Melania Trump hints at her true feelings towards Queen Rania after her White House visit

Melania Trump and Queen Rania seemed to be getting on well during yesterday’s White House visit.

Along with their husbands Donald Trump and King Abdullah II, the pair were pictured in the famous political home.

The two women dressed in coordinating pale pink and white outfits for the occasion.

Both in their late 40s, they defied their years with wrinkle-free skin and thick wavy hair.

The First Lady later took to social media to give her verdict on the meeting.

In a White House video shared on her Twitter, Melania can be seen getting on well with Queen Rania.

The two women appear deep in conversation together as they walk through the White House grounds.

At the end of the video, Melania affectionately pecks Queen Rania on the cheek and hugs her.

Melania is not know for her public displays of affection, but was more tactile than usual with Rania.

Referring to the “great visit”, she also posted several pictures of the party of four on Instagram.

She captioned the post: “A great visit with the King & Queen of Jordan.

“@POTUS & I were glad to welcome them back to the @Whitehouse. 

“@QueenRania & I shared an open & productive discussion about the many issues our countries are challenged with today.”

Recently, Melania was criticised for wearing a jacket emblazoned with the words “I really don’t care, do u?” (sic).

She caused controversy in the khaki army style jacket, which retails at £29 from Zara.

She wore the jacket to visit children an immigrant detention centre to day on the US-Mexico border.

The choice of jacket proved controversial considering the occasion, with many criticising the choice on Twitter for being insensitive.

Melania’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham tweeted on behalf of the First Lady to defend her choice of jacket.

She wrote: “Today’s visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly.

“If media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids – rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe – we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children. #SheCares #ItsJustAJacket”.
