Melania Trump was seen back in New York yesterday, having only moved to Washington to live with her husband Donald Trump two weeks ago.

It seems the bright lights of the city that never sleeps drew the first lady back as she visited the East coast city with her son Barron, 11.

The 47-year-old Slovenian former model met her husband President Donald Trump, 71, in the city, where she worked as a model.

The pair lived in New York in a penthouse in Trump Tower, before permanently relocating to the White House very recently.

Melania was seen visiting Trump Tower yesterday, leaving the building at around 2pm before getting into an SUV.

The first lady was wearing a cashmere coat and black sunglasses.

Only the day before Melania was in the White House with Donald Trump meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The First Lady wore a bright yellow Emilio Pucci gown – retailing for £1700.

The trio were said to have dined together but didn’t take part in a press conference.

Although it was a political visit, Melania very much stole the show as she flaunted her modelling ways walking through the White House.

Melania seemed thrilled to move to the White House in early June, she even posted a picture to Instagram to celebrate the monumental move.

The Washington Monument could be seen through the window. The monument is an obelisk on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., built to commemorate George Washington.

She captioned the image: “Looking forward to the memories we’ll make in our new home! #MovingDay.”

Back in February, WWD revealed the First Lady’s interior designer Tham Kannalikham would be working on the White House’s private quarters.

The New York-based designer previously worked at Ralph Lauren Home before starting her own design firm, Kannalikham Designs.

She said in a statement: “I am honoured by the opportunity to be working with the First Lady to make the White House feel like home.”
