Rumours have been swirling for months that had a secret audition that impressed 007 producer Barbara Broccoli

And just a few weeks ago reports surfaced that the 33-year-old rising star has now been offered the role of a lifetime.

Since then, bookies have suspended their next Bond odds and the actor who may well be replacing Daniel Craig has been playing it very coy on if he’s in the running.

Last night, he attended the UK premiere of his new movie The Fall Guy where he was asked point-blank about his 007 casting.

AP Entertainment asked Taylor-Johnson: “Do you get sick of being asked about Bond?”

Smirking and looking awkwardly at the floor for a moment, the rumoured new 007 replied: “You sick of asking the question?”

The reporter replied, “I want to know. So no.” But then the star simply walked away and uttered: “Alright, have a good one.”

Whatever the case, hopefully there’s an official announcement coming soon.
