Princess Eugenie wedding: Sarah Ferguson wears Emma Louise Design as Mother of the Bride

Sarah Ferguson, the mother of Princess Eugenie, was all smiles as she arrived at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle today.

The 58-year-old opted for a green dress for the star-studded event.

Her dress was from local Windsor company, Emma Louise Design.

The dress came to her knees, and featured a piece of fabric which billowed in the wind behind her.

She teamed the look with a matching wide-brimmed hat.

The Duchess of York carried a vintage Manolo Blahnik bag, which was of a tan colour.

Her bag had been carried by Fergie’s mother, Susan Barrantes, when she wed Prince Andrew in 1986.

The mother of the bride looked overjoyed as she made her entrance to the church.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice wore an indigo dress which had been designed by Ralph and Russo.

The 30-year-old royal, who is currently eighth in line to the throne, teamed the look with a hat by Sarah Cant.

The two walked into the church together, and were later joined by Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, who had walked the bride down the aisle.

Princess Eugenie, 28, wore a dress which had been designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, who founded the British-based label Peter Pilotto in London back in 2007.

Her outfit featured a neckline which folded around the shoulders into a low back.

A statement released by the Royal Family read: “The low back feature on the dress was at the specific request of Princess Eugenie who had surgery aged 12 to correct scoliosis.”

The gown also had a long and flowing full length train.
