Queen Letizia divides royal fans as colour block jumpsuit leaves her 'looking like a nun'
Queen Letizia of Spain looked stunning as she stepped out on Wednesday to attend the opening of the international tourism fair in Madrid, however, royal fans were divided over her style choice.
King Felipe’s wife donned a colour-blocking jumpsuit which featured wide-leg trousers and a cream blouse by Spanish designer Teresa Helbig from the Fall/Winter 2021 Collection. It’s a piece she has previously worn.
She paired the chic ensemble with the Daniela black pumps by PINKCHIC guagua (currently on sale for £74.45).
Letizia accessorised the look with a wide black leather belt and dainty diamond earrings, while she kept her make-up simple and her hair was let loose.
The royal was all smiles as she walked beside her husband, who looked dapper in a grey suit and red tie.
But whilst many royal fans were swept away by the Spanish queen’s style choice, others were not impressed with the look and said she looked like a “nun”.
One user wrote on Instagram: “Beautiful, it’s so visually interesting” while another one said: “Always an icon of style [star emoji]”
A third one added: “She looks super chic”.
A fourth one chimed: “Interesting choice! And the shoes I can afford.”
But others were not impressed with the royal’s fashion choice.
One user commented on the same platform: “No, it reminds me a nun”.
Another one opined: “She looks great. I do wish she could still wear heels though.”
