Queen Maxima of the Netherlands channels Kate Middleton in India – who wore it better?

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands is currently on an official trip of India.

The European Queen who is married to Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands played cricket with locals in the hot weather.

The stunning blonde, well known for her fashion-forward style, smiled a posed with attendees at the event.

Queen Maxima visited a Cricket Ball production company in Meerut during a three day official visit to India.

She is visiting the country in her capacity as United Nations Secretary Generals Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance and Development.

The foreign dignitary dressed beautifully for the day in a yellow ensemble.

She wore a stunning mini-length yellow wrap-around-skirt with a gold traditional Indian print.

She added yellow sandals and huge drop yellow earrings that complemented the look splendidly.

A modest cream blouse finished the look.

Queen Maxima, who hailed from Buenos Aires, Argentina and worked in sales before she married Prince Willem-Alexander, has three children.

They are Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, 14, Princess Alexia of the Netherlands, 12, and Princess Ariane of the Netherlands, 11.

Queen Maxima may have taken inspiration from Kate Middleton’s wardrobe and itinerary for her trip.

Kate visited India and Bhutan in April 2016.

She wowed with a diplomatic wardrobe created by Indian designers in beautiful printed silks inspired by the country.

Fashion critics lauded the move by the Duchess of Cambridge, who was also snapped playing cricket at the Oval Maidan in Mumbai during her stay in the country.

Another royal Queen Letizia of Spain stepped out today in a red coat and leather trousers. 

The brunette royal attended the inauguration of the 13th International Seminar of Language and Journalism at the Monastery of Yuso in San Millan de la Cogolla, Spain.

A mother-of-two, the former journalist wore a casual but smart get up with a rock and roll edge.

The petite former-media star opted for an all black look with a red coat.

The pretty coat was made of a brocade material and had a small geometric print.
