Sarah Wu at Glamour Magazine used the Augustinus Bader eye cream to put its anti-aging qualities to the test. The cream retails on the brand’s webite for £179.

The product has been used by celebrities like Ashley Graham, Kate Bosworth and Victoria Beckham. It contains ingredients that encourage regeneration and healing by activating skin cells.

Wu, who previously believed eye creams were a myth, used the cream twice a day for several weeks. She said right away, she noticed the formula felt great on her skin.

Don’t miss…

She said: “Immediately, I noticed that the formula was both lightweight and intensely moisturizing. It sank in right away, allowing me to easily layer makeup over it, but it kept the skin around my eyes feeling dewy and firm, as if I’d treated it to layers of serum and cream.”

After a few weeks, she said the effects were evident. Products glided onto her skin more smoothly, and her morning puffiness was mostly gone. While the dark circles weren’t 100 percent clear, her under eyes were more radiant.

Her skin looked more ageless as well. She said it felt more plump and smooth, having an impact on fine lines.

“This is by far the most impressed I’ve ever been with any eye cream, and I’ve tried and discarded a lot over the years.”
