Spider-Man Far From Home: Does THIS prove Tony Stark will DIE in Avengers 4?

Now fans will remember Tony has played a major role in all three films that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has featured in so far.

He recruited him in Captain America Civil War, mentored him in Spider-Man Homecoming and travelled to Titan with him in Avengers Infinity War where Peter Parker died in his arms.

With Robert Downey Jr’s contract ending it seems increasingly likely that Tony will have to trade his life for Spider-Man’s and everyone else who died in the Snap.

Why else would he be absent from Spider-Man Far From Home, while four other supporting characters from Iron Man movies are present?

It’s certainly a common trope in epic saga’s for the mentor to die and would fit Tony’s story arc across the MCU so well.

Captain America dying would be too predictable as the messiah figure he already is.

While Tony’s moved from being a selfish womanising playboy, to a responsible, sacrificial father figure. What better way for him to bow out than by dying for those he loves?

Avengers 4 will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019, followed by Spider-Man Far From Home on July 5.
