Spider-Man Far From Home trailer ‘will drop NEXT WEEK’: Is THIS the release date?

Last week Marvel fans were treated to the second Captain Marvel trailer and the record-breaking Avengers Endgame teaser. As for the only other 2019 MCU release, Spider-Man Far From Home’s trailer was only screened for a lucky few at Brazil Comic Con over the weekend. Now, almost a week later, fans are waiting with ever-increasing anticipation for their first look at the Avengers Endgame follow-up. And according to Hollywood insider Daniel R, the trailer will arrive next week.

He tweeted: “Trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home will drop next week.

“As for when, I gave you a date already but needs more confirmation…”

So which date does he mean? Well, last week he said Tuesday was a possible contender.

On Saturday, he tweeted: “So yeah trailer got delayed. As for the date, I’m now hearing Dec 18 but I want to be sure.”

Yesterday, Trailer Track tweeted: “Apparently it seems like US theatres might not have gotten it, after all, to play with Spider-Verse (they still might at last minute) but for now we’re going to say *next* Friday (the 21st) should be the latest it’s online by.

“If it’s indeed playing with Spider-Verse in the end, it should be online by end of this Thursday.”

So for all we know the Spider-Man Homecoming trailer could arrive from today, but certainly before next Friday.

A couple of fans who attended Brazil Comic Con have described what was shown in the trailer.

Tom Holland source writes: “The trailer begins with Peter Parker at a school event, shows the journey of his vacation and a big battle with Mysterio.

“The trailer showed a romance between Michelle and Peter Parker.”

CinePop added: “Spider-Man is famous and going to Europe with friends on a tour, and prefers to leave the uniform in New York.

“Arriving in Venice he is approached by Nick Fury and recruited for a mission to defeat a giant villain made of Stone and Water.”

Spider-Man Far From Home will be released in cinemas in July 2019.
