Spider-Man Homecoming star Tom Holland reveals the kinky TRUTH about his costume
The actor has said in a new interview that he has only item of clothing on underneath the iconic suit: a thong.
Speaking to Shortlist, he explained: “All I have on under that costume is a thong.
“They brought them in on my first day, like, ‘Here are your thongs.’”
It seems, as he delicately continued, that there were “serious misgivings” involved in the outfit.
“I had serious misgivings. ‘Would my a*** hole ever be the same again?’. But I had to get used to it, even though I was thinking, ‘No way, no way!’
“You have to completely disrobe and then put a dressing gown on, but they’re very comfy ones, you can’t walk around in just a thong, can you imagine?
“And then you race across the lot to the toilet, then come back, get back into it. It’s such a mission.”
Still, it seems to have been a worthwhile mission – as the film has picked up strong reviews thus far.
Holland will next be seen as the same character in Avengers: Infinity War, although not even he has read its script.
He told the Toronto Sun that he knows very little indeed about the all-star blockbuster, due out next May.
“I don’t know anything about it or what it’s about,” he confessed.
“I know who the villain is, but that’s it.”
Spider-Man: Homecoming is out on July 7.
