The new Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse trailer landed today.

Not only does it introduce a new take on the webbed wonder, it also brings in the concept of multiple realities and alternate dimensions, which is what man fans are expecting to see in Avengers 4.

There are also new reports that the latest Spider-Man movie is directly linked to Venom, which hits cinemas tomorow in the UK.

How is that even possible, when one is an animation – and what does it all mean for the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

A new report claims to have seen the two end-credit scenes from Venom and one of them leads directly into this movie, confirming they are operating in the same universe.

MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad “Then the post-credits [scene] says, ‘Meanwhile in another Spider-verse’. They show you a little clip from the animated Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse.”

Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse introduces a new-look Spidey. Brooklyn teen Miles Morales is black with a cop father and Gwen Stacey only swings into view as a superhero from another dimension.

Yes, this is exactly what many think could happen in Avengers 4.

Fans are being taken into the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

This tangled web lines up beautifully with one of the prevailing Avengers 4 theories which states that the only way to bring back so many dusted heroes without undermining the truths of Infinity War is to introduce them in an altrenate timeline or dimension.

After all, Spiderman himslef died in The Snap, but fans already know his live action sequel Far From Home will be released a few months after Avengers 4 and formally launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4.

Will Phase 4 present an alternate universe, one where dusted heroes live and wher other long-lost franchise like The Fantasic Four and X-Men can be introduced?

This is also the first movie from fired Solo A Star Wars Story directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

All eyes will be on how their latest release fares at the box office, and no doubt comparisons will be made with the disastrous performance of the Solo movie.

VENOM IS OUT ON OCTOBER 3

SPIDER-MAN INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE IS OUT NATONWIDE ON DECEMBER 12 (PREVIEWS FROM DECEMBER 8)
