Taylor Swift: The Tortured Poets Department variants and where to buy them

Taylor Swift made the surprise announcement earlier this year at the Grammy Awards that she will be releasing her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department this year.

And, although Swifties have not yet heard any songs from this record, the anticipation has reached boiling point.

The album is due out in just a couple short weeks, on April 19, 2024, and it is expected to delve into the breakdown of the American singer’s relationship with her ex-fiancé Joe Alwyn.

Most recently, she revealed the name of an exclusive song titled The Bolter on one of her vinyls. She told her live audience at the time: “I needed to make [the album], it was really a lifeline for me, it sort of reminded me why songwriting gets me through life. I’ve never had an album where I needed songwriting more than I needed it on Tortured Poets.

“I wanted to show you something tonight because… we’ve got an alternate cover to the Tortured Poets Department that nobody has seen. And there’s an exclusive song on the vinyl called ‘The Bolter.’ So this is called The Bolter Edition.”
