Though Teen Titans Go! To The Movies has yet to make its way to UK cinemas, some fans want to know whether or not it’s worth staying in the cinema after the credits roll.

Like every other superhero movie in the modern era of movie making, Teen Titans Go does make good use of the end credit scene.

But for fans who want to know what happened without sitting through five minutes of names you’ve never heard of, we’ve got you covered.

What happened in Teen Titans Go! To The Movies end credit scene?

Here’s what goes down: As the credits roll, they’re interrupted by interference, coloured bars flickering across the screen.

The static remains, but soon familiar voices can be heard over the speakers.

It’s the voice of the Teen Titans.

Not the simplified childlike version from the movie which just ended, but their original TV series version.

Beast boy asks: “Is it working?”

Starfire adds: “Hurry, there is not much time,” the Teen Titans team clearly trying to broadcast a message.

“They need to know we’re still here,” Raven says.

Everyone’s favourite Titan then comes into focus.

“This is the Teen Titans, can anyone hear us?” Robin says.

The camera zooms out, showing the whole team.

“We think we may have found a way back,” Robin says before the screen goes black.

The phrase to be continued on Cartoon Network appears on the screen.

Teen Titans Go! To The Movies movie which is now playing in cinemas is a humorous meta-take on the DC Universe.

The chibi-style TV show, which began in 2013, is similar in design to the previous Teen Titans cartoon.

The new show also has the same main voice actors playing the same characters (Scott Menville as Robin, Hynden Walch as Starfire, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Tara Strong as Raven, and Greg Cipes as Beast Boy).

Fans of the original Teen Titans show felt as if it had been cancelled before the story was finished.

Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is in UK cinemas Friday, August 3, 2018.
