Donald Trump gave a speech in Saudi Arabia urging them to fight “Islamist extremism”, however one body language expert claims it did no go down well with the foreign politicians.

So far Trump’s behaviour in Saudi Arabia has been unimpressive, according to the expert.

Darren Stanton, known as the human lie detector, says the President’s curtsey when receiving his award, in particular, reveals inner panic in meeting powerful figures from foreign cultures.

Darren claims that while Trump aimed to make political grounds with his speech about preventing terrorism, he did not manage to inspire or impress the crowds.

“That went down like a led balloon, you could see the king was almost falling asleep,” Darren said of the body language of the crowd.

In an extended video version of Trump’s speech, it is possible to see politicians yawning, some even sitting in parliament with their eyes closed.

Darren claims that some officials seemed not to be enjoying listening to the US president.

“There is a shot of one a the sheikhs pulling a contempt micro-aggression, showing he feels moral superiority and doesn’t want to listen to Trump,” Darren said.

“They are not responsive. There is quite a lot of them in that state where they’re almost drifting off.”

When Donald was awarded the King Abdulaziz al Saud Collar, the highest civilian honour you can be given in the county, which has also been awarded to Vladimir Putin, Theresa May and Barack Obama, he gave an odd response, according to Darren.

Darren said: “When he was given the award he wasn’t sure what to do so he bowed and he curtsied. He wanted to show respect and did not know what do.”

“He’s trying his best to make things work. He’s trying to confer respect but maybe he wasn’t briefed that well,” he explained.
