Venom film end credit scene CONFIRMED: 'Marvel fans need to stay in their seats for THIS'

Venom is on his way and will be the final Marvel offering of 2018.

Separate to the MCU and Marvel Studios universe, this is one of Sony’s last major scheduled superhero offerings and fans are desperate to find out whether Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock can successfully bring the Spider-verse onto the big screen?

Not only that, will Tom Holland’s Spidey really swing into view (and cross between franchises), if only for a cameo or end credit scene?

Director Ruben Fleischer just gave a huge hint and warned fans they really do not want to leave the cinema before that screen has gone totally black.

There have been numerous reports that Holland was spotted on the Venom sets in Atlanta.

Nobody could say whether he would be appearing as Peter Parker or Spider-Man.

The Venom trailers have established a strong, darkly unique tone and it’s hard to see how the sunniest of all superheroes coudl fit into that. Unless he pops up in a cheeky end credits moment. 

Fleischer just spoke to Fandango about what fans can expect from the movie.

Fleischer confirmed how his movie stands apart from the MCU: “When I set out to make the movie, I wanted to distinguish the film tonally, and I wanted to make a darker, grittier, kind of edgier comic book movie that also has a strong horror element, which is inherent to the character and the comic.”

But will there be an end credit scene?

He added: “I think it would be a mistake of any superhero movie not to stay through the credits.”

What are the chances of it including Spider-Man?

Fleischer seems to be playing down any crossover with Spidey: “Venom is a standalone character who has so much attitude, menace and ferocity. He’s also really funny in the comics and in our movie.

“He’s a really compelling guy that can completely stand on his own. When he’s played by Tom Hardy, and Eddie Brock is his partner, that relationship is enough for one movie. It’s about these two entities coming together and forming one. That’s a really exciting and satisfying relationship that is unique to a comic book movie and also very captivating.”
