You won’t believe how much Kate Middleton’s earrings for Prince Louis christening cost

Prince Louis’ christening yesterday was attended by many high profile royals, and of course his mother and father.

Kate Middleton was a vision in a cream ensemble.

She wore a cream coat with matching shoes and a headband with floral details.

Adding to the look was a brand new pair of earrings, never seen before on the Duchess.

A fan of pricey jewels, Kate is often seen in lavish gems – some of which are borrowed from the Queen.

But these new pieces come with a hefty price tag.

The earrings appeared to be the Cavolfiore Pearl Studs from Cassandra Goad.

With a shop in Sloane Square, the jewellers website states: “Her jewellery is worn by Lord Mayors, countesses, princesses.”

The earrings are available to order from £4,360.

They are constructed of 18ct yellow gold and set with seven pearls set with diamonds (0.3cts).

“Inspired by the clusters of young flower stalks of the cauliflower (cavolfiore) in the market. From the Journey to Sicily,” the website states.

Kate Middleton wore Alexander McQueen on the big day, a favourite of hers. 

This is the third christening Prince William and his wife have overseen, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte already long christened.

It is, however, the first royal christening for Meghan Markle, 36, who attended with husband Prince Harry, 33.

Meghan Markle wore a green Ralph Lauren creation, which she paired with a hat by Stephen Jones. 

Earlier today Kate also wore Alexander McQueen for the service to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Air Force, founded in 1918. 

The stunning, structured coat came to just below Kate’s knees, showing a hint of the same colour skirt beneath it.

The gorgeous coat was delicately buttoned down the middle, with panel detailing around the waist and bust.

Attending the service at Westminster Abbey, the 36-year-old respectfully covered up with long sleeves.

The baby blue ensemble also featured a large open collar, adding a modern touch to the traditional coat.
