Daniel Craig tops Sir Sean Connery as RICHEST James Bond actor with how many MILLIONS?
The 50-year-old is set to star in his fifth and final James Bond movie and he’s certainly earned quite the fortune in his 12 years as 007.
According to the Sunday Times Rich List, he and his wife Rachel Weisz have a combined wealth of £125 million.
The news comes after Craig is set to earn $25 million for Bond 25, while Daily Mail reports his total earnings – including box office – will come to around £100 million.
But how does his £125 million fortune compare to other Bond actors?
Well in 2008 the original 007, Sir Sean, was reported to be worth an impressive £85 million.
Next up is Craig’s predecessor Pierce Brosnan, who is worth £63 million according to this year’s Rich List.
While George Lazenby, who played Bond only once in 1969’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, was said to be worth £52 million back in 2010.
And the late Sire Roger Moore was said to have a fortune of £50 million last year.
Nevertheless while Connery was voted the favourite, the answer with the highest percentage was “Not applicable, I do not have a favourite James Bond actor”, with 28% of the vote. Also 5% said they just didn’t know.
The poll also took into account the age of each person who voted, with the highest percentage tending to be in the age bracket that grew up with that actor as their Bond.
Both Craig and Moore mainly broke that pattern, appealing across most of the age groups.
James Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas in early November 2019.
