Mary Poppins Returns streaming: How to watch the full movie online? Is it legal?

The plot of the Mary Poppins sequel follows life for the Banks’ After Mary Poppins departed London. The synopsis reads: “When Michael becomes a single father of three children after the death of his wife, Mary Poppins revisits the Cherry Tree Lane home again to try to help Michael and his family cope and move beyond their grief. “Time passes quickly for most normal mortals. Mary Poppins has never been normal. “Although it’s now the 1930s, she looks exactly the same. Her message to Michael, Annabel, John, George and Ellen, the family’s housekeeper, about enjoying life and loved ones is also still the same.”

Unfortunately for those wanting to watch Mary Poppins from the comfort of their own home, they’ll have to stick to the prequel.

Mary Poppins Returns is not available for online streaming as of yet.

Any website which claims to have the sequel available is illegal, so be careful.

If you want to watch the original Mary Poppins online, you can purchase it on YouTube, iTunes, Amazon, and others.

The sequel will likely have a long run in cinemas before heading to a home edition release.

DVD releases tend o come out anywhere from three to eight months after a film has left the cinema.

From there, it’s anybody’s guess as to when the film will land on a streaming site.

Disney is launching its own streaming website, and the movie will likely wind up there.

No price points have been released for the video on demand service as of yet.

As of writing, the Disney at home streaming site will be called Disney +, and whether it will be compatible with the Apple store or any other at home streaming hardware remains to be seen.

According to pocket-lint.com: “Device support is unclear, though Disney has referred to the upcoming service as an “app” on several occasions, suggesting it could be streamed to phones, tablets, computers, TVs, and other internet-connected devices capable of running apps.”

But all this is for the US version of the streaming site, and what Disney will do internationally is still unconfirmed.

The Disney sequel currently holds a respectable 77 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.

The reviews aggregator’s critics consensus reads: “Mary Poppins Returns relies on the magic of its classic forebear to cast a familiar — but still solidly effective — family-friendly spell.”

Express.co.uk attended the world premiere in Los Angeles, gave it four out of five stars, and said: ” With a perfect blend of nostalgia and reinvention, Mary Poppins has returned to the big screens.”

Giving it a score of B for Entertainment Weekly was Leah Greenblatt, who wrote: “Spoonfuls of sugar always help the movie magic go down; if only this Mary had gotten a necessary twist of lemon, too.”

Jo Berry gave Mary Poppins Returns five out of five stars for Digital Spy and wrote: “A warm, funny and cuddly family movie that’s truly for everyone, and is a definite must-see for the Christmas season.”
