Princess Eugenie ‘breaking Royal traditions’ with wedding dress ‘very different’ to Meghan

Royal weddings are exciting national events, and Princess Eugenie is the next princess set to the tie the knot.

The daughter of Prince Andrew and Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, both 58, will marry drinks promoter Jack Brooksbank, 32.

So what might Eugenie wear on her big day?

Fashion experts and royal fans will desperate too know the dress Eugenie has planned.

According to one style expert, Eugenie will wear something unlike what we have seen before.

The gown is likely to be “very different” to what Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, both 36, wore for their weddings.

Anna Mewes, personal stylist and image consultant, told Express.co.uk: “Princess Eugenie is known for breaking Royal traditions when it comes to dressing and I imagine she will do the same when it comes to her wedding dress.

“I expect her dress will be very different to the styles Kate and Meghan chose for their own weddings.”

Beatrice will be turning to a dress to flatter her figure, the stylist suggests.

Kate Middleton’s corseted dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen fit her like a glove.

The stunning lace corset on the dress rumoured to be worth £250,000, nipped in the mother-of-three’s waist.

Meghan Markle, on the other hand, wore a simple dress with a looser fit.

Anna believes Eugenie will opt for a cinched-in waist and full skirt.

“Based on her sartorial choices for high profile events in previous years I imagine her wedding dress will feature embroidery or texture of some sort, possibly lace on the bodice,” Anna said.

“She loves to show off her figure and I predict she will wear a dress with a cinched-in waist and full skirt to emphasise her shape.”

One designer pipped for the position is Erdem, a favourite designer of Kate’s who was also tipped to designer Meghan’s dress.

Anna said: “Erdem has been suggested as the designer and would certainly be a great fit for her style-wise, she has been seen in their designs a number of times over the years, with their bold prints and flattering shapes certainly appeal to the Princess’ sense of style.

“This thoroughly modern Princess certainly sets her own style rules and I think we can expect the unexpected when it comes to her wedding dress too!”
