Queen Letizia, 46, went about her royal duties in Madrid today as she met with the German President, Frank Walker Steinmeier.

The Spanish Queen met with the President with her husband, King Felipe, at the Royal Palace of Madrid.

Looking regal and elegant, but with an edgy twist, the 46-year-old wore a burnt red ensemble

Walking through the palace’s regal and opulent halls, Letizia wowed in the two-piece outfit which she matched with a striking pearl necklace.

The ensemble was made up of a silk blouse and stunning structured skirt, both in the same shade of burnt red.

The blouse featured an elegant crew neck, with long sleeves cut away down the middle and tied back together with straps for an edgy twist.

Starting at Letitia’s slender waist, the A-line skirt came to just above the Spanish royal’s calves.

The elegant skirt featured structured pleats that then flowed out into a billowing hem.

Letizia paired the outfit with some classic, red court shoes in the same colour.

Keeping things understated and classy, the stunning royal accessorised the red look with a string of pearls around her neck.
