Rambo 5 FIRST official pictures of Stallone and he looks VERY different as 'Cowboy Rambo'

It’s been ten years since Rambo rampaged across the big screen. At 72 years old, the actor is bringing his iconic fighter back for what must surely be his final outing.

Stallone posted two news images on his Instagram account revealing a new look for the muscle-bound hero.

Although the star has recently shown images and videos of himself at the gym maintaining that incredible physique, there is no sign of any bandana, sleeveless vests, machetes or bullet belts this time.

Get ready for Cowboy Rambo.

The first images is simply tagged: “Tonight we start shooting.”

It shows him in full rancher cowboy gear, complete with cowboy hat and chaps.

The second shows him on horseback in cowboy hat, boots and oilskins with the tagline: “Comes a Horseman Wild and Free.”

Fans have left ecstatic responses for “Cowboy Stallone” as they gear up for one last ride into the sunset for their idol. According to the recent plot synopisis it seems ‘ranchero’ Rambo will be riding to the rescue of kidnapped girl. 

Stallone tagged an earlier post: “The world may be changing but not him. NOTHING IS OVER!”

It looks like Rambo will be righting wrongs and doing what the law can’t as he battles wicked criminals and outlaws south of the border.

The synopsis said: “[The movie] finds him living in a ranch in Arizona, deeply troubled and wrestling with PTSD as he picks up casual work wherever he can.

“When long-time family friend and estate manager Maria informs Rambo that her granddaughter has gone missing after crossing into Mexico for a party, he sets off with her to find the youngster. What ensues is a violent descent into hell as Rambo uncovers a sex-trafficking ring.”

“He teams up with a journalist whose half-sister has also been kidnapped and must deploy all his skills to save the girls and bring down a vicious crime lord.”

Get The Gringo director Adrian Grunberg is at the helm. He has a great pedigree working gritty action and crime projects like the Netflix TV show Narcos and films like Man on Fire, Edge of Darkness and Traffic.

Rambo V is set for release in Autumn 2019.
